June's almost over...

I haven't updated much in a while... no particular reason, just enjoying the summer sun and going to the pool with the kids and then with Brent and the kids on the weekend.  The downside of this is that our weekend projects are NOT getting done and time is running out before the baby arrives!! :)
Which leads me to the fact that baby #5 is still enjoying her present home in my belly... she must feel she has enough space and I am on the opposite fence wondering how in the world my stomach could stretch any more?!?!  At the pool yesterday I was stopped several times by other moms, mostly with words of sympathy.  There was this one lady who thought my tummy was ultra funny and much it resembles a basketball (I'm thinking watermelon but it's all in the eye of the beholder. And hey, I win cause not only is it in the eye of the beholder but I am the actually holding up this heavy belly!!!)
So.... we have decided that if this little one doesn't arrive before Monday we will go have the scheduled c-section.  Five more days... Bennett is counting down a lot more than me!  He asked me this morning "How long will you be in the hospital?"  and I said "OH, I don't know 3 days, maybe 4."  And his response was this "I HOPE 4 so I can stay with Mitchell more!!!"
Moving on to the kids that have escaped my womb (or heart, cause that's were Evie came from)...
Bennett enjoys going to the pools as much as me.  This was a big surprise because of how fearful his is of the water.  But I really need to change that to WAS.  He has even started to swim underwater, without holding his nose!!!!!  And of course everything is a competition to him so he is racing to see how is the most tan... winner is HIM!
Eve is also enjoying the pool.  She loves the water and it is great therapy for her.  It's like the child she should be comes out every time she is in the water.  I love watching her there.  She also enjoys lounging pool side as if she were really 16. She even sprays herself with the tanning oil (spf 15 of course!) :)
Johanna likes the pool so-so.  She enjoys the "ocean part" the most.  She likes to crawl around and just be safe.  This is challenging because Bennett, Eve and sometimes Kent are dying to get in the taller water.
Kent is mister dare devil.  He thinks he can swim now.  He tries to jump in by himself, he even tried to count..1, 2, 3 JUMP!  It's just mumbly! :)  He's a beam of sun.  That kid is so funny I love it.
So that's the update... for now. :) Sorry if it's a bit boring but we're enjoying it!
