Ultrasound

Today was the day we were able to find out the sex of Baby #5.  It was weird thinking that this one would tip the scale.  I have had some intuitions that this one was a girl, comparing it to the other pregnancies.  My hopes were that Kent would have a brother, especially since they will be 18 months apart.  Brent was feeling the same.  Bennett was wanting a boy.  Eve was 100% sure that the baby was a girl (she's been telling everyone that she's having a baby sister).  Johanna was dead set on a brother.  And Kent was pretty indifferent, but he's a chill little guy.

After the ultrasound tech told us what we were having all Eve could do was say "I remembered it was a girl!"  (The Welborn house is a breeding place for competition.)

So three girls!  Yikes!  Brent is seeing $$$ and we are both imagining the added drama it most-likely will bring.  I though am excited to see what she looks like.  I think Kent look like a little blonde Bennett with Big Blue eyes.  Will she look like Jo with dark hair and dark eyes?  Only 4 more month until we'll find out!  Another cool thing is Skylar and her will be as close as Bennett and Mitchell.  That will be SUPER fun!

I think everything is sinking in.... by Sunday I will be ready to shop!  (I got rid of all the girl clothes this summer! UGH! Oh well, just another excuse to shop!)

She's a bit sleepy... big yawn!!!!!!  (kinda looks like Kent)

Kids stuff

Here are some new pictures of the kids or some of their projects. ENJOY!

Kent was helping me clean the downstairs while the others were cleaning their rooms upstairs!
Johanna's crazy big garden Aunt Kristin and Uncle Dan got her for her birthday! She planted the seeds by herself and we've been watering it.... looks like it's working!
It has grown so fast.......
Kent is spoiled.  He loves to play the Wii.  We found a mini remote and Brent made him a Wii fit board.
He loves being just like Bennett, luckily he is fully clothed (unlike his role model!).

Here's what happens when I finally finished the last post.  Kent couldn't stay awake.  I am not sure if it was June Carter Cash's comforting voice or the warmth of being held.  I am sure a little of both! :)
We have moved to the country!  And what an amazing view we have... all from the window above the kitchen sink, which helps keep me motivated to do the dishes!
I can't believe Johanna turned three!  We had her party at Nana and Bonk-Bonk's.  Having the party there guaranteed a plowed driveway for everyone.  Kent's birthday was a week before Jo's and AJ and Natalie got stuck at our house, with a lot less snow fall!
Brent and I have had some major slacking on the party planning. I am thinking that is just how it goes the more kids you have.  Bennett saved the day though!  He grabbed some princess attire for the girls.  Oh and did I mention Johanna actually helped make the cupcakes? OH, she LOVED this! Even though the day was more chill than some of Bennett's parties, I honestly think she liked her party as much as he has like any of his.  She was grateful for all her gifts but she especially enjoyed her Dora purse filled with candy and make-up from Pete and Mindy's family! (A girl after my own heart... candy and make-up!)

There's always something going on here at our home, something new to post.  It the time I am look for to be able to get on here!  Until then I hope you enjoy the little that is here!
